Your new favorite closer! An exciting setting of "Go Down, Moses" paired with "I've Been in the Storm So Long." This piece has it all: thick harmonies, swinging piano accompaniment, a break-down section, claps and stomps, and an ending that will blow the roof off and have your audience on their feet! (Available in SSA, TTB, TTBB, SAB, and SATB voicings.)

I sang this with the Tulsa Boy Singers over 20 years ago now. We sang it with 20 other choirs from around the world in AmericaFest in St. Paul Minnesota, so, you can imagine how loud those last few stanzas got. I can still feel it in my chest, 20 years later.

Thank you for posting this. ❤❤

This was the first song I rehearsed and learned with my Coral Discantus de Murcia (Spain) in October 2000 for a Gospel concert in February 2001

I was in msvma this year, and we sang this song, and Jeffrey Cobb was the director I believe; really great person!

This is one of my favorite choir songs and this might even be better than the moses hogan arrangement!

Especially love the buildup to the end! So much excitement and drama. Exactly what I love in choral arrangements!
