my mom knew that i loved tennis a lot thanks to Rios, and that day she let me skip school just to see that great match... I remember it suffering more than what it seems to be Rios simplifying everything. Rios was the most talented but also the most inconsistent player that there was in those years. He could be dominating a match and then he threw it all away just to regain it again. That was the fun part about Rios. This was a really fun match to watch just because he made it simple to be number 1, because that was one of his goals, he said it multiple times. And also an ego boost to win to agassi in an important tournament. But i insist the best part to see a Rios match was the ups and downs that he had.. it made it SOOOO fun, so characteristic of him.
