This Ham and Cabbage Soup is filled with goodness. It has ham, cabbage, potatoes and green beans in it.The vegetable broth takes it to the next level.This soup is just as delicious as my Cabbage Soup. You have to make this soup, you won't regret it. INGREDIENTS:
7 to 8 pound ham if you like leftover ham. You also can use a ham steak if you don't want a lot of ham leftover.
1 heaping tablespoon of seasoned vegetable base
2 cups water
Add to crock-pot and turn on high for 3 to 4 hours.
Remove ham to cool and pour broth into large pot.
5 to 7 medium potatoes cut into bite size pieces.
1 head of cabbage cut into pieces
1 small bag of frozen green beans
pepper
2 more tablespoons of vegetable base and 3 cups water
You can use vegetable stock that come in cartons in place of the seasoned vegetable base and water.
