1. Speedwagon using the ultimate intellect of the ultimate life form managed to sus Kira out before anyone else could, potentially even long before 1999.
2. Speedwagon decided to hijack an ambulence and run over a guy who happened to be a serial killer.

What gets me is that Speedwagon becoming immortal and defeating every big bad is canon. He does this in the actual series. The Speedwagon Foundation lasts until the end of the timeline, and is a vital, if sometimes minor, part of every Jojo's ultimate victory. This is just a more direct representation of what Speedwagon already did.
