The debate is over. One of the best mouse and keyboard players in Apex just won a championship . . . using a controller.

A few months back, TSM superstar ImperialHal got so sick of trying to tell everyone how overpowered controller aim assist was that he decided to prove it instead.

The thing in apex, is that good players understand the strength of AA. Movement is important but it doesn't beat a "one clip" of 200 without barely moving your thumb. That's why basically every controller pro in apex admits how strong it is. I play on the day one Xbox one at 45 fps, the worst res you've seen and when I queue with my pc buddy I still get diamond

People don't understand that mouse aim is all solely based on human reactions, aim assist is literally an ai that makes reactions for you when aiming, I think this why solely why gamed like val or Cs go aren't on console because aim assist would break the game

As someone who’s played on both and with over two decades of experience: playing on controller hurts my overall results. The aim assist isn’t overpowered like everyone is saying. It’s not an aimbot. It simply centres your cross hair and nudges slightly. Playing on controller is like playing in mud.
