Oh I don't know what graphics card you are using. If you are using Nvidia. Remember to go to Nvidia control panel and change it to 10 bit color. Default is 8 bit. Also change the color range to full, 0-255.

Actually I recently bought this monitor and you can get 60hz at 4K with the HDMI because the HDMI is HDMI 2.0

I didn't realize that Jack Nicholson had a gaming channel. I bought this monitor on a Boxing Day Sale for $402 cdn including taxes. I 100% agree with your review especially how bright it is. Choosing the "standard" preset in the menu is a lot more tolerable. I run it at 1080P resolution since I see no difference when viewing 4k youtube and it's a LOT easier to read text etc and for browsing. I haven't tried gaming. I'm pretty happy with it.

You said you need to set to gaming mode for 1ms. Isn't it the same if you set it in the menu "response time" default is faster, change it to fastest. Isn't that the same thing?

Weird tablet version doesn't let you edit comment. One last thing. 3 of our monitor does not have any bleeding like the picture you show us on those reviews. We also got ours from newegg.

can you tell me what connection you used between the monitor and graphics card ? Did you use the HDMI 2.0 on monitor to HDMI 2.0 on your pc or did you use display port on graphics card to HDMI on samsung monitor ? GTX 1060 graphics card i have, thinking of getting monitor
