I like the pattern enviorment. Hope you will bring audio to the pattern realm and a dedicated clip luncher for them as well as a new pattern tool in the upper menu. In combination with bend markers inside Impact this will be the Holy Land for beatmakers.

Expression Maps is the #1 voted feature request on the user board. We've asked for 5 years now. When Steinberg ignored MIDI users, they lost people. Now they are getting people back. Hopefully PreSonus starts paying attention to their own forums. Notion CC lanes? Will it take 10 more years to get the most important features we've wanted since day one? Listen to your users please.

I Have only one amp and dont have the pedalboard vst.. any solution?

Are these always random or pseudo-random with seed? Because I'd like randomness always be same if I run song again, but could re-seed to get different pattern, or enter seed manually, and then automating seed to get different result.

Hey, thanks for the vid! My wifi went out for four months, & I've only now gotten the update. I just wanted to correct one thing for you; that beat isn't "4 on the Floor", not even close. That's a loungey, trip-hop beat with only one kick per measure. The saying "Four on the Floor" pertains to either hair metal, with the basic 80s rock beat at about 80 bpm, or your classic techno beat at about 140bpm. You have a kick, four times per measure, usually with a snare filling the space in-between them; that's "four to the floor", & you just slow or speed up the tempo depending on the musical style.

Why do you still have the pattern editor capped at 64 steps tho? If you're doing half step patterns like trap or dubstep it would beso much easier to work with patterns that are 128 steps long

Can you switch the drum pattern mode to piano roll mode to change the pitch of the drum sounds (like in FL) and it saves to the drum pattern?

Nice and I been there since studio one and its a few plugins need to be in the next update like a noise plugin a plugin that is for recording for beginners on how to set they hardware equipment and watch all the beginners eat it up

The part and pattern editors are too confusing. What’s the point of having both? Why is the kick on top? Usually it’s on the bottom. Stringing 4 parts together into a full beat is too convoluted. I just find myself wasting a bunch if time and getting frustrated and going back to ableton, reason or maschine. :’c

Editing in Arranger mode still does not work with lead-in notes. Is there a way to ensure that lead-in notes will follow copy/pasting that I do?

Would love to to see some videos from this presenter on how he incorporates his hardware synths into his work flow. I use Ableton as well and creating external instruments midi and audio into one Live device really makes working with hardware synths a breeze. Would be awesome to see this type of functionality in Studio One 4. Would also like to know how to create and save instrument racks using VST instruments and VST Effects into one file like Ableton instrument racks. Can’t figure this out in Studio one
