"No... you're shmoopy!" LOVE THE REFERENCE! Dude, you make the most helpful videos I've ever used. Thanks so much for doing what you do -- most sincerely appreciate it!

I love this video, in my opinion it sets up a standard for tutorial videos: funny, thorough and focusing and repeating all the necessary stuff still without treating you like a dummy. Thx this series is a Xmas 🎁 for me after returning to recording with a 20 year gap ... Thx again keep it up with these videos

I learnt a lot of Studio One from this channel which is quite rare from many other DAW official channels.

Been in live bands for years… Just to say… bought Studio One to ‘do some stuff’ with a mate.. didn’t do it. Hadn’t touched it.. never used it.
Followed your tutorial on a basic drum loop and actually got something saved!! Your method is superb… just got to work out the next step of how to add some sort of keyboard etc.😂
I have subscribed so will be searching.

Joe, Love being entertained along with actually learning something since you don't talk like you're running out of time. I'm a Studio One novice and everything you said to do, actually worked from beginning to end which usually doesn't happen with me!

I appreciated your patient review of some of the basic steps in using S1, as opposed to assuming more accessible knowledge than I sometimes possess.

I needed this tutorial. When I brought up impact in the past I couldn't figure out how to get the sound into my project. I got it now!! Thank you Joe!!

Thanks Joe! You always know how to make a average "JOE" feel better...Because of this video I now feel like I can open up Studio One and actually create a song or a project without feeling "looppy shmoopy". Thanks Joe.

I was wondering how to do just this and a friend sent me a link to another guys YouTube. The screen capture was all blurry and he had the cart way ahead of the horse. He had all of the drum tracks laid out and didn't explain how to get them there. And he went racing around the interface without showing, as you did, alternative keystrokes, buttons. You also went back and did things twice sometimes. Thank you! Now I can go and lay down some bass tracks etc. with ease. and yes, I have created a template from this simple drum loop. Thanks for that as well.

Joe, you had way too much fun making this video!🤣 Also, I just learned recently you can click tempo and drag up and down to alter the speed. Makes it easy to match tempo in real time! Love Studio One!

I watched this on 1.5x...the part where you talked about maybe waking and being hyperactive that day was hilarious. All Comedy aside, it was a very helpful video. Thank you, Joe!
