Bella's visual language just looks very soft and kind which I think works more in part 1 than part 2. She feels like a kid in part 1 being forced through these horrid events but in part 2 she doesn't have an older aura due to her looking nearly identical and the writing making her still act like someone not living through an apocalypse.

What gets me is that they TOTALLY could make her look a lil like Ellie just by using things like makeup, wig, contact lenses yk I really don't know WHY they don't do this, like where the heck are the makeup professionals and the other people responsible for the characters appearances??? A lot of cosplayers that don't look like Ellie at all can look like her using makeup and wig, so the clothes are REALLY the best they can do? In this case, they're not professionals and Bella's not responsible for this.
