The floating seat design is reminiscent of the Ford 021c prototype by Marc Newson. I like this car - the black hood evokes my old 1974 Opel Manta Rally. Will be fun to see how much of this design makes it to market. I'm really old, but when Opel comes back to the USA in a few years, I might just be in the mood.

That was a sensation!
I have been dreaming of the reappearance of the Opel GT and Manta A in electric form since it was such a part of my childhood. Great to see the front grill of the Manta A and bonnet in black on this concept car. I would love to see this become the family look of the entire Opel range in Electric. This would endear people to Opel once again and give a smack-down to GM for doing the dirt on the Ampera E.
My father must be sitting up in his grave...
In light of Tesla Model 3 releasing futuristic interiors, Opel should go for some of these features in the concept.
One important point about the video side mirrors: The mirror/monitor on the passengers side should be replicated(as an option) on the passenger side of the drivers dash. This way he has both mirrors on each side of the dash board making it rather like a motor cycle - very functional. That is what is missing with the Audi arrangement.

Awesome concept. Not a fan of those doors, but I do love overall design. Those doors will probably never make it to actual cars because nobody likes to wait 10 minutes for doors to open. I think Opel might have bright future now that they are free of GM's incompetent management.

Another excellent review Thomas. Not everyone wants to drive the massive SUV 's that everyone loves to hate, so these smaller versions will definitely be very popular with the masses. Keep up your non pretentious informative reviews.

I love his design except for those wheels. They go against the “detox” concept. Nice clean body shape. I would like to see many of these features in production models. Love the dashboard and the foot pedals. Keep up the great work!

Looks great. I would be happy to ride in one of those in our autonomous driving future. It looks ideal for that purpose. And it shows Opel can make awesome looking stuff. I’m usually not a fan but this is extremely cool. I want more bold cars on the road.

I just think the designers put a lot more effort with the wheels intricate shapes than with the overall look of the car.. also the front fascia could be mistaken for the rear. Do somewhat like the almost nod to the 70's steering wheel.
Far right side camera not a very good idea, they should have copied placement as Glickenhaus SCG003S.

I like the idea of the front lights but they REALLY need to use smaller LEDs to make it look good because like this it reminds me of playing snake on my old nokia.
