Children under the age of 1 should not have honey but great suggestions! You can slice a thin piece of raw garlic clove (wrap it in gauze) & then use medical tape to affix to the bottom of the foot & put the sock on over it. Garlic placed directly on the skin will cause a blister so be sure to wrap it in something before placing it next to the skin. I have heard this method works quickly & should be done am/pm until the child is improved. You can tell this works they say, because children will develop garlic breath after just a few minutes LOL
