As a Liverpool fan I will say this I do think Liverpool made the right call to let sadio go because last year during covid he had a poor season and then the first half of this season he had a poor season. The only way he got goals was because jota got hurt so sadio moved to ST and diaz moved to LW I believe if jota doesn't get injured and is still getting goals sadio would have had to hold the bench

I would also see him in the middle. Bayern is so oversized in wingers. Sane and Coman are also faster than Mane, then you got Gnabry and Musiala. I would play mane as striker, Sane right, and Coman left, Müller zom.
But Ofcourse only if Lewandowski leaves, otherwise Mane got to fight with Coman Sane and Gnabry / Musiala for the wings. Epic battle because I would say that all are under top 20 wingers in world football
