Today we feast on cake and birthday wishes! I am making mini pigs in a blanket for an easy birthday breakfast for my son. These are so easy to make and perfect for parties even if you are on lock down self quarantine.

INGREDIENTS
8oz can of crescent rolls dough
24 mini cocktail sausages
1 large egg (for egg wash)
Bake @ 375ºF for 12 to 15 minutes
*Makes 24 mini pigs in a blanket

Happy Birthday to your son! I used to make a version of these when my two were little. (They’re 37 & 38 now).
I would cut beef hot dogs in half score them down the middle, stuff them w/cheese then using my drop biscuit recipe I’d finagle the dough around the stuffed hot dog and bake. They loved these w/Mac & cheese and a vegetable - it was dinner many nights for the 3 of us.
