I don’t think Tommy even thinks about what chords to play or anything. He just wills the guitar to make certain sounds and his hands just say, “okay.” Amazing arrangement!

There's a video of Tommy doing a sound check at some festival. Eric Clapton was standing at the edge of the stage with a look of total respect and awe for what Tommy was doing. Technically he is as good as the best classical guitar players in the world and more creative than most of them. His version of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" is a work of celestial majesty.

Tommy you are my favorite acoustic guitarist, my favorite electric is Jeff Beck.I've had a couple of heart attacks with stents and 2 small strokes but I still try to play as much as I can because it makes me feel peaceful! I would give anything to play with either one of these guys on top of my music.
