A detail I love in this scene: As Gohan starts getting angry, before he's even hit Frieza, Vegeta shows a look of shock, while Frieza remains unphased. This is because Vegeta learned how to sense power levels from his time on Earth, while Frieza still had to rely on scouters. With his scouter broken, Frieza just saw a child getting angry, while Vegeta sensed something cataclysmic was about to bubble over.

The lead up from Gohan tackling Raditz and this scene where he knocked Frieza into next year to Gohan becoming SSJ2 and incinerating Cell with one arm is some of the best storytelling in anime. Gohan will forever be my favorite Dragon Ball character.
