gods this scene is terrifying. ive seen others mention how it isn't as scary as the zombies from 28 days later but heres the thing. that threat is immediate, in your face, not much time to react. *these* zombies? slow. ambling, no clear goal. a hoard is a walking calamity, and when you are caught off guard by that many, and hiding is your only option?? sheer terror. entite scene bleeds tension and i love it.

Dale should have seen the zombies from thousands of feet away. The rv is about 10 feet high plus binoculars, but when the camera zooms out and shows the herd, they're like 50 feet in front of him

its funny how andrea´s walker strolls through the van and checks it out. he looks like a customer whos interested in buying the van :D but in reality he wants something else..

I never understand how the walker that entered the RV vaguely acted as if he still retained some human intelligence, such as when he's looking around the interior and how even before Andrea made a noise, he already looked like he could sniff someone inside. Not to mention the fact that he's the sole walker that actually entered the RV as if he's so desperate in looking for someone to eat while the other walkers didn't even bother to look into the RV.

S2E1 is definetly one of the most scary episodes on the show, it creates a tension and a feeling that something bad is going to happen and you feel so unquiet. I remeber feeling anxious when I watched it for the first time

Now they can take out an entire herd with just knives and machetes. I miss when the walkers were more of a threat. Now the threats are humans 90% of the time.

Goosebumps. This is scary. Nothin beats the classic zombies even the fast zombies nowadays are just infected with experimented virus, the original ones were spooky!

I remember when I first watched this scene. Still gives me the same sinking feeling as the first time. The music score for this was incredible. The silence beforehand and then the swell of the intense music and the realisation dawns on everyone's face. Incredible
