War Between Israel & Hezbollah Imminent

The US is warning its citizens to strongly reconsider traveling to Lebanon. Warning that the Lebanese government can’t provide protection for US citizens against armed conflict. They also add that Americans still in Lebanon should avoid southern Lebanon, the border with Syria, or refugee settlements. This comes as Israel has threatened to “send Lebanon back to the Stone Age”. Israel and Hezbollah seem destined for conflict with US intelligence finding an Israeli invasion to be likely this summer. However, America’s European counterparts disagree, with them believing that war between the two could happen within days and have called on their citizens to leave the country. But US officials do concede that a major attack by either side will likely happen with little notice. Canada is looking to evacuate thousands from the country. US diplomats have been spent months trying to convince the two to deescalate but unfortunately neither seems to care.
