I don't think any actual Pokken fans are mad about having to buy a port for the DLC characters: all of us are just excited the game will still be supported and the competitive scene will continue to grow and stay alive.

I don't see why people are disappointed. As much as the new designs of Solgaleo and Lunala do look a bit odd (I'm sure it'll grow on us), we really don't know anything about these games whatsoever! Just be patient guys. Let's be real, Pokemon was never going to go onto the Switch yet, Game Freak only put their games onto hardware that has a solid install base, and the switch as of yet does not.

I'm hoping Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon will have significant changes from the original Sun and Moon. Travel to Kanto in postgame, gyms, and other features?

It's funny how some people are mad that Ultra will be a rehash with a few changes but wanted remakes or Stars. What exactly would those have been? Pokemon always remakes the same game with a few changes. That's what they do

Isn't Ultra Sun/utra Moon essentially what people thought stars would be? It's just a different name :P

To those angry at Nintendo and Game Freak for not revealing Stars, you can only blame yourselves. You bought into the rumors without any substantial proof. You decided for yourself that it was real. Nintendo and Game Freak are merely making the games they want to make. So take a step back and perhaps look at your own faults that contributed to your disappointment.

I wanted to say something about the new forms of Solgaleo and Lunaala shown in the trailer. Is it just me or is it the reverse of the situation with Kyurem and Zekrom/Reshiram? In the latter's case, Kyurem absorbed Zekrom or Reshiram, giving it a new signature moves. However, in this case, the design of the Solgaleo and Lunaala forms, in my opinion, look like Solgaleo and Lunaala absorb Nekrozma. The fact that their body gains a large amount of black and almost look crystalline, like Nekrozma, but the designs are about the same. Because of this, I have a theory about Nekrozma: Near the end of the main story of Sun and Moon, Lusamine took control of Nihilego, which amplified the power of her Pokemon. So maybe Nekrozma is going to act similarly to Nihilego and will be used to amplify the power of Solgaleo or Lunaala depending on the game, but act as a parasite and take control of them.

Did nobody remember that stars was just a codename for a third verson of Sun and Moon. So Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon is stars but not what the rumors were claiming what stars was.

I'm honestly more disappointed in the fanbase than in Game Freak. Releasing Pokemon on switch would make switches even harder to find. Add that with already small supply and high demand, and you wouldn't be able to find a switch for a year.

As for the raging gen 4 fanboys, calm down. Gen 4 remakes are coming eventually. Just wait a bit. I know patience is a foreign concept to Pokemon fans (2015 being a big example), but you're not going to have a choice.

Finally, the 3DS launched in 2011, while X&Y launched late 2013, nearly 2 & 1/2 years later. Don't be surprised if we don't get a Pokemon game until 2019.

To those expecting a Pokémon gane on Switch: You are actually crazy. Pokémon has never released a game this early in a sysyems lifespan. Also, why would they release a third version/sequel to Sun and Moon on a different console. That would be a skap in the face to people who bought Sun and Moon and would only be further emohasized by the Switches current lack of stock. It was a good idea for them to hold off.

Why are people calling it a bad direct just because of a dumb rumor? It was a good Direct, not the best, but it was good.

Hope they announce DLC for Pokken and include Infernape and Greninja, the game desperately needs more speed characters in the game than just the 2 we already have, Sceptile and Weavile
