Good review. Love the Google mesh (original because my house is hardwired and original units all have CAT5 inputs) because it is strong and reliable. However in order to manage your network, you must use Google home and that is absolutely the worst network user interface. Orbi has much more solid app to manage your network by. If you try to lock down your network to unwanted devices it's extremely difficult to identify the units you want to let in IE when you have guests and they need access to the network. You must go through multiple screens to identify the IP address or Mac address of any new devices. Very frustrating.

Best and simple product … I can’t understand why google launched nest wifi with speaker, seriously why u need speaker for wifi enablers ? Ok coming to google wifi I moved from apartment to a house where Att Modem sits in a enclosed closet room and wifi was pathetic I was wondering in apartment I had same internet package why it is so bad in new home . It’s because wifi signal from closed closet room cannot cover 90% of the house. I bough this google wifi and plugged it in my living room and issue solved immediately. Already love this product

If I have the Nest already that comes with the two pack and one performs like an Alexa, can I add these as extenders for dead spots?

After I rename the wifi and put password I get a message saying “Problem Connecting please check if you’re online” and I am online of course
I am connecting it to the router provided by my internet provided

Your best bet is to wire them all up instead of relying on the wifi mesh if you want the best performance.

Are these good for gaming??? I've switched between 3 different wifi providers now and still lag very badly. Would this be a good alternative??
