As a kings fan you could have never told me after the 2022-23’ season we would be taking steps backwards and firing Coach Mike Brown

Reminder the Kings are still owned by Vivek Ranadive, the same guy who thought it was a good idea to play 4 v 5 on defense and have a guy cherry picking under their own basket, the same guy who overreacted to a small losing streak when their star player DeMarcus Cousins got sick and fired then coach Mike Malone who was notably the only coach Cousins liked playing for in his tenure with the Kings and the same guy who was 100% certain Buddy Heild would be the next Steph Curry and who he traded DeMarcus Cousins for. This overreactionary panic move is totally on brand for this guy and unless reported otherwise I believe it's all on him.

Firing Mike Brown was the wrong move IMO.
They have a badly built roster that doesn't fit together. DeFrozen was obviously the wrong move before the season. Continuing to compound mistakes with other mistakes

As a Knicks fan, this sorta reminds me of the situation we were in a couple seasons ago. Made the postseason, missed it the following year, then got off to a slow start the year after that. With a lot of speculation Thibs was gonna be fired by December of that year... Not sure if axing Brown was the best move forward, and the WAY they did it indicates a dysfunctional front office... trust me, I saw it for two decades 😮‍💨

I dont think the blame is 100% on Mike Brown but he definitely had shortcomings too, but the biggest blame here is the FO and the players. But above all else, the owner is the biggest problem

Demar DeRozan is the killer of offenses. He's so one dimensional and ball-dominant that he singlehandedly lowers the ceiling of every team he's on.

As a bucks fan I hope we fire doc rivers and hire Mike brown, or just add him to the coaching staff. What I saw in 2023 was good enough to convince me that he is a great coach
