So he said, we won't match him up against #1Wr cause it doesn't always work on the zone scheme? So willing to risk having a better chance of getting defense off the field, to stick with the scheme? Pretty much not able to adjust throughout the game. Great hire, McVay, FML

Maybe the problem is that the Rams seem to be a team that can't adjust and continue to win once a starter goes down. A lot of starters have gone down this season for most teams (Cooks, Cooper, Jones, Henry, Murry, Hopkins, etc.), all those teams adjust or at least have "schemes" that allow for them to plug in and get acceptable production.
