My little girl got a totally different experience when I was approached by police at a public swimming pool. Smh. 3 police officers approached me and separated me and my little girl to confirm a welfare check. To see if she was my little girl. She was crying uncontrollably but no one did anything even after I asked if they could talk to her because she was afraid of them and this would haunt her, which I didn't want. They did nothing after confirming I was her father. You earn the hate and fear when you do nothing about it. My little girl is fearful of police despite my efforts to explain the need and importance. Smh. This is the world today.

This is what's needed in America... police officers and community need to build the trust and harmony... In Scotland, you can stop any officer and chat with them... When I came out of lockdown after been home for 100 days, my first interaction was with an officer and he spent sold 15mins talking to me... there is a lot of trust between officers and general public
