Eh, I think I like the original better. To me, a pistol is a secondary. I suppose I'd have to run around with both to truly pass judgement, but the new one seems too bulky for me to want to holster 99% of the time as a backup.

I think they both have their place! But I personally tend to gravitate more towards the 2.1 because removable magazines!!!

Have you ever heard of the LP-55. You might want to check it out and do a review on it. It is like the dz pro mk2 but with actual mags

can you modify the holster for the 2.1 to be a hip holster? like maybe cut the straps and then zip tie it to a belt?

I prefer mk 2 because it's like the bolt action pistols or triple action thunder than a regular pistol.
