First I have to say that watching the camaraderie among all of these judges and Ted never gets old. There is such a cohesiveness among all of these guys that it's just always a pleasure to watch. That said, I couldn't help but wonder (humorously) if there's ever a time when one of the judges actually doesn't like the other judges' dishes but of course they can't say anything because they all have to make positive comments. So does anybody else ever wonder that? Haha

The lamb shanks are perfect for a meatball themed basket because grinding shanks are a great way to prep them in a hurry due to the high connective tissue to meat ratio.

Sorry scott! Can't call something a lamb "Ragout", when it's only lamb stock! "You are CHOPPED" 🤣

I would make lamb kefta meatballs utilizing the ginger and leeks and some middle eastern seasonings, and turn the creme brûlée into a savory sauce by discarding the burnt sugar and adding Greek yogurt, lemon, cumin, cayenne, and coriander.

Meatball "reuben, " with mayonnaise incorporating the creme brule and ginger, and a quick pickle on the leeks to act as sauerkraut

Add Ground Beef and Bacon about 10% of each .
Fried and pan seared Meatballs
Leak Salad
Minced Ginger in the meatballs
Sliver Ginger in the salad
Finished with a Brulee Ginger Sauce for the meatballs.
Easy Work while super Highlighting 1 ingredient. And it's the hardest to make look good.

I watch Chopped every chance I get. I watch to help me with cooking since I am a horrible cook and do not know how to use spices and/or things in the pantry to enhance flavors. I would love to be a better cook, and Chopped helps me with that.
