Your finishes are great. Oh my gosh, i love that Kathy Barrick deer! You've given me an idea for pattern storage. I keep my charts standing, in a basket. I am going to remove the ones that I've already stitched, so it's easier to pick a new one when I'm ready to choose a new start.

I am not a fan of snakes either. I make a lot of noise when I’m walking in the woods.

Love your new release!

Great new design.
Love Winter Quaker, my favorite color, blue!
I don't like snakes either.
There is a river behind us, & 1 time we found one that must've slithered up into our garage behind the garbage bin.ICK!
Happy New Year!

Your stitchy pieces and finishes are beautiful. I think I want to stitch Rudolph and friends. I loved your finish. I also really like Santa Stops here. I organized all of my patterns in 1 1/2 inch binders. My friend had a lot of them that she didn’t want anymore so I took them from her. I also bought three during the back to school sales in August. I think I have about 19 or 20 binders. I went through a box of 200 page protectors plus I started out with a bunch and used all those. I went back to Staples and bought another 200. It took time to organize but it’s the best thing I could have done. I can easily find any pattern I am looking for. My friend who gave me the binders also showed me her magic wand years ago. We went to Home Depot a few years back and I added that to my stitchy tools. I hate snakes. I grew up in the hills in SoCal and we always had to be aware of rattle snakes. My parents bought a house in a developing area and there were all kinds of critters. My mom found a fox in the garage one day. You kinda had to be careful back then. Years later, after the area got developed, we didn’t see or hear about any of the wildlife we did when we first moved there. Thank you so much for your videos and being so helpful. Have a Happy New Year!

Hi Chris! Happy New Year! All your finishes and current projects are so beautiful, thank you for sharing them with us. I would vote for you to use the Vicki Clayton Silks for your new start, since you love them so much (I do, too!) and it’s much cheaper than NPI’s. Enjoy your gorgeous new Sulky thread collection! Until next time…
Meline
PS - I really like your organizational idea of putting your charts in the binders….keeps them protected, too! 😊

I love using Sulky thread on 32 count fabric. It is so much easier to pull that one slightly thicker thread through than using two strands of DMC. Several years ago I spent my birthday money on the petites set one and my Christmas money for the petites set 2 from Amazon. Before Christmas this year Sulky online had 30% off their threads, so I bought the set of 12 wt blendables. I should now be able to find a color for anything I want to stitch!

I also am using Markup R-XP. And for the most part I’m loving it.

Snakes!!!! I always say I'm a city slicker... born in Bklyn NY. my parents moved us to MN when I was a teen. I went to the Boundary Waters in my 20s with my husband, part of a church excursion. The guys decided they wanted to take the canoes out for the day. I said I wanted to stay at camp to get some sun, there was a perfectly flat rock that was ideal for spreading out a beach towel. Here's the end... the guys came back, woke me from my nap, and showed me that a couple of good-sized snakes also wanted to bask in the sun! It's one of my many stories... thanks for sharing yours.
