Why is Clix Banned? - FNCS Recap

It's unlikely you haven't heard about this by now, but there is a lot to talk about when it comes to the situation of Clix's ban. This small incident could lead to one of the largest impacts on his career since losing his creator code; which he only just recently got back.

Not gonna lie when he was streaming that game it was easily the most tilted I’ve ever seen him. I’m not surprised be made a lapse in judgement w how pissed and frustrated he was. 2 weeks is brutal tho

This is kind of similar to the OCE pros ban (Volx) after he got banned for 14 days for being in a call during a solo cc and not fighting the person in the call and he got banned for 14 days but he was able to play the following FNCS next season.

i think the 14 days was a little to much 7 coulda easily been way better but it’s the fncs thing clix has always been in the comp scene and this is one of his best chances to play well with cented coming 4th first tourney they had unconned and a whole season again for no fncs they gotta do soemthing abt that

It's not just the 2 weeks. It's this FNCS Finals, the next FNCS, and most likely the global championship in Copenhagen unless he quals in person. That's absurd

ok it makes sense thats a form of teaming. But that clip alone is just so funny like its moments like that that make clix one of the biggest streamers on twitch. Hes clearly forntnites twitch ambassador and beyond them having to make an example out of him i feel like its also shitting on one of the only most recent genuinely funny fortnite clips of the entire year. He plays into his tilting but the actual events, the tournament setting, its a sniper (whose entire existence is almost beyond the streamers control) and the fact hes angrily telling him to give him materials for compensation which honestly in the moment was hilariously fair. Clix has been doing good in fncs sorta lately but no one really believed hed win this one. Hes still out here making goated clips and retaiing a viewership to this dying game so i think the drama is just exasterbated. At least its stpreading the clip around

clix did something wrong. just because hes a big creator doesnt mean he should get special treatment. i watched his full break down and he made a mistake. the point of the ban is to prevent another incident that causes more problems. i think he should be allowed to play next fncs and not this one.

I think that Epic may re-appeal the ban just because he holds so much power in the community and accounts for most of Fortnites viewership, and he was getting Cented back in which was huge for the comp scene. They may be doing this to prove a point and teach streamers a lesson too

Clix deserved the punishment. Nullifying the tournament in question and his $100 is a given. Not a punishment for the rule break. Something else had to be done aside from taking the prize money and voiding that tourney or else that would be epic giving no punishment at all for what he did and it would set a risky precedent for teaming in the future, especially with the example being someone as big on the scene as clix
