The Alola Region was my first region too! Game wise.

alola is my personal favorite region too, alola the most diverse region that I’ve traveled to in Pokémon. It’s explorable and has a lot of optional locations for exploration. I hate when people called the region linear just because of made up of islands. I think that each island is unique and had an explorable location and the region has many cool locations such as deserts, jungles and volcanoes in one region. I also love how everything makes sense in alola. The pokemon, humans and settlements are integrated in this region. I also love how this region is tropical and have a good amount lot of water. Exploring the ocean/watered routes in alola are also great. I felt like the tropical regions are always more adventurous and explorable than a rugged/mountainous region, because alola has everything you want, beach, town and cities, caves, mountains, volcanoes, oceans, rivers, jungles, and ruins, other worlds that leads to alien world and many more. I freaking love alola and it doesn’t get the hate it deserves. It’s quite the interesting region.
