iPad 4 Battery Repair

For all the people complaining about not including a re assembly video. If you can follow to the end of the video with success, putting it back together should be (is) easy. It's called rewind. Getting the digitizer off cleanly is the hardest part. Great video.

After replacing battery, power button, volume up and cameras don’t work. I also replaced a very broken touch screen and there were a lot of glass shards. I have flushed out the connectors with iso and air. Power button was def working prior to the battery replacement. No visible damage to cable.

I watch 3 videos from vendors selling replacement kits, but none of them show an actual replacement, just the disassembly part. I would say reassembly is equally important if you want make a repair, right?

What I did was rest the touch screen and led screen to one side resting on some towels, I just took out the 3 screws on motherboard then heated up a small scrapper with heat gun just enough to prize away battery from glue put new battery in screws back put screens back in place heated around edges so screen would fix charged up job done, but if your not confident undo everything in this vid 😎👍🏻

Good start but I agree that you do not show the reassembly...so a waste of time since I have to find a completed video.

so i want to ask a question sir, after the battery replacement, it need glue to paste for screen again? or only place screen to case is enough?

This is not suitable for Ipad 4 with sim card reader, too hassle to remove all motherboard with Sim card reader. There is another video replace ipad battery more easier than this and i found it!
