'Meet ‘Derek’: Sarah Ferguson reveals name of her new reconstructed breast'

Sarah Ferguson has named her reconstructed breast “Derek” after undergoing a single mastectomy operation.

She revealed the nickname during her podcast show Tea Talks, adding she is “just coming to terms with my new best friend Derek”.

She said: “I don’t know, it just made me laugh that I have now a friend who’s with me all the time and who’s protecting me with his shield of armour.”

Sarah is such a nice lady. I looked after her for a few hours in a Business Class Lounge in Toronto as she was attending a charity event and flying back home. She was so sweet, she gave me a postcard that had a photo picture on it the she had taken in Windsor Great Park and she wrote lovely words of thanks on the back. It had a funny typo, which she openly told me, but it was her last one. It made it all the more sweet. Such a wonderful memory. I wish her the very best with her health
