The Vital Importance of Rapid Decarbonization in the American Midwest
Hosted by Science Museum of MN and Fresh Energy
If it were an independent country, the American Midwest with its heavy reliance on fossil fuels would be the 6th largest GHG emitter in the world and so the Midwest is critical to U.S. ambitions to reduce GHG emissions 50-52% by 2030. Session speakers will highlight very encouraging trends and steps that are and should be taken to accelerate them.
