They did upload a full concert a few month back from a previously released DVD they had for sale. I have never seen another guitarist for their lives. I have watched. When they first formed they had a second guitarist, but she left early on and was never replaced. They were known as "Girls Rock Band Kakumei" when Junna was the drummer. They changed the band name soon after Nagis joined. I have one video on my channel with all four. Check it out if you want. Junna is now an official drummer of Hagane.

Went to the Band Maid acoustic show in Tokyo back in March and saw these ladies live in a tiny club in Koshigaya a few days after along with Bray Me in a two man show. Definitely just the three of them live with backing tracks for anything extra. They were awesome live, as was Bray Me.

They do have a second guitar backing track. And yes, they are awesome live!

Tracks. All of these bands do it. Using technology to keep costs down while producing a better quality show isn’t a bad thing. Serina and Nagisa do their thing while Asaka is singing and playing her heart out - I don’t care how the other tracks happen. There’s plenty of live video footage of them out there - enjoy!

Hey John, I hope you are having a great day! I think they have to use at least some backing tracks during their live shows. I couldn't tell you what Asaka has on her pedal board, I have no idea. They do have some live videos on their YouTube channel. If you haven't checked out "Spoopy" from them, you really should, it is one of their heaviest songs to date. There is another great live video of "Ambivalent" where Serina (Bass) really shines.

What could be better than the combination of the best vocals in the world and the best soundtracks in the world of cinema in a great show!?

Please react to a grandiose performance (very big show, more than 100 musicians on stage) - Diana Ankudinova. Art of Hans Zimmer Soundtrack from the movie Dune

The first Dune film, released in 2021, received 6 Oscars out of 10 Oscar nominations.

Hans Zimmer - film score composer and music producer. He has won two Oscars and four Grammys, and has been nominated for three Emmys and a Tony. Zimmer was also named on the list of Top 100 Living Geniuses.

Full video name:
Diana Ankudinova. Art of Hans Zimmer Soundtrack from the movie Dune
(the best version from St. Petersburg)

This video is from Diana's second official channel - "Diana Ankudinova Life" This channel only features live performances by Diana and there are no copyright restrictions.

They use backing tracks on the album and I am pretty sure live as well. Some trio bands, like Asterism, play their stuff live without the guitar backing track which makes it sound somewhat different (better imo, but that's subjective), others like Trident use plenty of effects live to thicken up their sound (not that you can't hear their live play). Their one live DVD is pretty post-produced as well, think the sound of early Band-Maid DVD's or early Lovebites DVD's, so it's difficult to tell on that one. I do think the live tracks are certainly worth checking out though, but it's difficult to find a live track by them that doesn't sound pretty post-produced, which makes it difficult to tell how they would actually sound live at the venue.

I have been pretty critical on their production (especially vocal wise), as I find them a bit too layered/produced sounding (other Japanese bands that have this approach include Hagane, Mana Diagram, Paleneo to some extent), but there is no question they are a talented band, I love Serina's bass playing, and people who don't mind the post-production will absolutely love them. They have plenty of tracks that I like and even love even with me preferring a less produced sound and I have actually bought a lot of their physical releases over the years because of it even if I am somewhat torn on them overall. You seem to really enjoy them, so I certainly recommend to keep diving into this rabbithole.

It's a shame they removed all their Girls Rock Band Kakumei tracks off of the internet a while ago, with how long they kept them live. They were a pretty different band soundwise, they have gotten way more electronic/produced overall, but I think those tracks (just like the live ones) are still worth checking out if you enjoy the bands current output.
