Mr. Ives nails what me and others who have lost their tech jobs in the last year are thinking: spending money on AI and letting go of employees to make up for the money spent there and to please stockholders. The job market is horrible for we tech job workers.

I think the body language and non-verbal communication deserves a lot of attention in this video. You can observe more and more "forced positive attitude" in similar interviews. The overall narrative is changing and so will sentiment out there.

The irony in how the market typically treats layoffs…

Layoffs typically cause a stock to go up. But high jobless claims brings the entire market down. Huh?

I'm so tired of the word "A.I" Seriously, especially when random people are just saying it non-stop

Cisco missed the data center switching transition like Intel missed the mobile internet cpu transition. Cisco does layoffs twice a year. When it makes the news the week before earnings, it's to temper a sudden big drop in share price.

UBIQUITY is “Slaying” them to death. 💀 I’m very thankful for a company like Ubiquity. Because of them my homes and my offices are affordably protected with enterprise grade firewalls that only billion $ corporations could previously afford. Not mention all the other great perks like AI cameras, WiFi 7, Doors. It’s just too incredible to believe I was able to get my hands on Technology that superior. Cisco still wants 20, 000$ a month just to have Thier router work in your home or small office. It’s stupid. It’s ridiculous. The world has “caught on”.

Put your blindfold on, forget layoffs and replace it with the word AI. Buy buy buy

We lived just fine before Ai the problem is expansion it’s a double edged sword. If Ai need a lot of power where’s it coming from and why do i have to pay more for electricity that the government uses, doesn’t that defeat the green new deal they have

Bugatti’s get 8 miles per gallon going 100 mph. Cisco going 45mph smelling the roses the entire way. What’s the goal Dan? Growth takes time efficiency moving forward. Too fast and you miss the way.
