The fact that Brock Lesnar of all people admitted got his ass beat

Coming from a man like Brock Lesnar, that is a very humble and respectful statement.

What I like about Brock is that when he was in the UFC he wasn’t fighting no nobodies, he was clashing with the very best.

Honesty is the best policy
“He beat my @$$”

That’s the mentality of a champion. We all lose it’s how you handle it that defines you

Brock did awesome in the UFC. I don’t think he gets enough credit, he was still new to MMA and he was fighting top competitors and champions

Brocks the real deal, totally humble and seems like a great guy

I love the realness of that answer, just keep it a buck, you lost fair and square.

I like that Brock brings up his illness, because that definitely was a factor, but he does not use it as an excuse and admits he wasn't able to overcome Cain. Champions recognise champions.

Damn I remember watching this fight. Can't believe it was 13 years ago.

I like this Brock. Honest, introspective and intelligent. It’s cool. We know he is a beast, he doesn’t have to tell us. Respect

Cain was very well rounded and never got tired. It's no shame for Brock to lose to him. Brock never lost to cans. He lost to Fukin Ubereem and sea level cain.

Brock could lose 20 MMA fights but will always be considered a winner. He became champ after 3 or 4 pro fights. No shame there.

One of the 1st UFC fight I've ever watched. I was rootin' for Brock but Cain is tough as hell.

Brock is awesome for acknowledging the truth but funny with the way he said it 😂

That honesty in the interview with these two changed my whole thoughts about Brock. I think this is the most honest answer you are ever going to get whenever you ask a fighter what went wrong in a fight for them. Usually they're not this open and honest about it.

💯 that's real could have made excuses but it is what it is sometimes you win sometimes you lose but we get up to fight again...
