I love everyone's groan of disappointment when 611's pilot wheels jump the track. A minor thing but a major effort to fix XD

I was there today Aug 21 2021. 611 is steaming along loud and proud. Along with engine 90. Both very large titans of travel. Their majesty is unmatched

Never knew she derailed at Strasburg great catch and video, she not really fit for the track Strasburg has. That must have at least take hour to get her back on the rails.

As a kid, I got to ride the 611 for a few mile when it came to the hump yard in New Haven, Indiana, back in the early 80's. Very cool. Also got to ride on the 765. Those locomotives never fail to impress.
