Yes yes, I know kiddies. It is called ARTISTIC LICENSE. Roll with it and pretend we are back in Vietnam in the Huey Cobra, as I show off some other goodies you are going to want to see as a helo simming fan! See below.

+BelGeode I thoroughly enjoyed this video and seek your advice. I was an Aerial Rocket Artillery AH-1G Cobra pilot in Vietnam 45 years ago with the First Air Cavalry Division. Retirement is almost upon me and I'd like to start "flying my PC". I'd like to ask you which simulation programs can help me relive some of those AH-1G days. We were mostly in III Corps. Some Cambodia and Laos; never north of the DMZ. Never saw an enemy aircraft. Enemy anti-aircraft was mostly SA7 and 23 mm cannon. Our nose turret weapons were 7.62 mm 6-barrel mini-gun and 40 mm grenade launcher. Wings held four 19-shot rocket pods for a total of 76 70mm rockets. Rocket warheads that could be selected were High Explosive Anti-Tank (HEAT), flechette, White Phosphorus, Point Delay High Explosive Bunker Busters, CS Gas, and High Explosive 10 or 17 pound warheads. I usually carried 17 pound HE unless we know in advance of a special mission. The guy who flew my wing usually carried half HE and half flechette warheads. Our main mission was artillery support for ground troops in enemy contact. First Cavalry liked to use Cobras for artillery because we had eyeball contact with the enemy. We also escorted UH-1 slicks in an out of LZs, and provided security for Medivac helicopters. When Hunter Killer Teams (Pink Teams) found something really big, they often called on us to assist.

You might try the AH-1S Cobra from Area 51. It's closer to the Vietnam-era Cobra.
