I’ve never journaled before, so I’m interested to try this and see if it helps to organize the way I organize my days.

Great review, I think that Apple should include a search functionality; I feel as though the filter option isn’t quite enough. Also, there is no area to recover accidentally deleted journal entries. Of course, it’s a new application that Apple have brought out, so I think that we will see these functionalities in due time.

I also want to take a moment to appreciate how Journal looks and feels. It’s very smooth and easy to navigate. The photos are laid out at the top and the text is at the bottom, you can add as many photos as you want and expand the Journal entry to view them all.

Is this info tied to iCloud storage? I've been adding some video clips and I'm curious about that.

I got a question does this integrate with the state of mind as well? Could you put your state of mind data into your journaling?

What about templates and formatting of text, is Markdown supported? Hwo does it compare to Day One?

I’m now using it in my iPhone, it’s really easy to use and I really like but. But why it doesn’t available in iPad ? I also hope this journal can have the search function.

Agree with some other comments, a nice start, but I want multiple journals, I need to keep a journal for work so this digital version would be great, but I don’t want that to get mixed up with a life journal or holiday journal

Can you use hashtags for retrieval afterwards of similar journal entries regarding the same theme?

The app is a little too bare bones at the moment, but I’m hoping they pull in some basic formatting features from the Notes app.

Great review. I’ve been journaling for a few years now, so if I can’t import my past years from another app I’ll have to give it a pass and that’s why Day One and the rest are not worrying.

Why would anyone want to spend time adding stuff to this app when other than looking at it on the screen there is no way to export it?! Lack of export or archive makes it junk! Would you take a load of photos that you could only view on your phone and couldnt get back out?!
