These Machines are epic. I have worked with Mark Bowler a few years ago when he was doing some consultancy work, he is a nice down to earth bloke and good to work with.

Nice one Vanessa. So add a modular roll cage, soup up the suspension a lot, beef up the chassis a chunk, modify the panels to fit including the doors, turn off the elctrickery and Robert's your mothers brother. All done by specialists. I love it! and I want one. I'd love one of the old manual Defenders, ideally one of a similar spec to the old Camel Trophy cars back in the day, no electronics and required more input from the driver over difficult terrain. Sadly I can't justify the expense but I can dream. I'm too old to rally and I'm dropping to bits but I still love the odd adventure. Many thanks for sharing. Take care of that hip.

All that car needs is a Vanessa (with proper backing from Chris)!
(Don't underestimate the skills of an excellent co-driver. He certainly puts in more than the "co" in the total outcome.)

I want one of those to take my bike into the scrub. Bowler have done a great job with this build. Great video, and most of all good luck with your racing.🏁
