Mike, my favorite was the Alante 29S, if anything, because bedroom seems to be accessible and usable with slide in. May I suggest you show how motorhomes look and how accessible they are with slides in before taking slides out. I would also like to see available outside storage and other outside features. Thanks, these were great examples of small motorhomes that can be parked in State and National parks. We like to see more like these. We currently have a 32 ft. class A that we can park anywhere we find two continuous parking spaces, we don't use a tow vehicle.

I like the Alante 29s. It’s worth mentioning the 29s has an outside kitchen, also love the barnyard door to the bathroom.

I went to a RV show just today and toured almost all of these. I think I now prefer the small Class A over a C simply because of that huge windshield! I was surprised at some under $100K.

Why would 7 people give this a thumbs down? A "small" Class A does have advantages. If you're determined to get the Class A, it makes sense to shop around for ALL sizes, not just the monstrous versions built on a chassis the size of a Greyhound bus. There's nothing wrong with a 29 or 30' long class A. It will be easier to fit it in your back yard if you have to store it at home and you're less likely to struggle with the size when visiting national parks. I've been inside one and yes, they will feel smaller but that's the main tradeoff. Not everyone needs to live like a king and queen in a 50' long "land yacht". Pick the size you feel is best and do NOT let relatives or the sales people pressure you into "getting an extra two feet". I've seen a few Class As in Germany and they were all under 35-37' long. Interestingly, quite a few Germans prefer them as horse-haulers! The back has a stable for 1-2 horses and the rest is a normal RV.
