I can attest to the driving experience of the Lucid Air. I was a complete skeptic about EV's. I just had zero interest in using an EV. Then I drove the Lucid. I was floored (and floored the pedal in the Lucid to great joy), and have never looked back. The efficiency of the car means I can charge up very quickly at home, or at EA. I absolutely love not having to stop at a gas station anymore. Efficiency makes all the difference for our standard use case. But the build quality is absolutely superb as well. You feel you got your money's worth.

I feel bad for this company. They make great cars. My FIL has an air grand touring. It’s really amazing but cost him 130k when it came out. Lucid won’t survive making 100k cars. The gravity is awesome but at 100k you’re not selling volume. You need a model 3 and Y competitor and need to sell in mass. Simple as that. That’s ignoring the Tesla/elon fanbase loyalty.

Too bad you can't have good driver assistant software. I have a 2023 Lucid Air Touring and a 2019 Tesla Model 3 Standard Range Plus with FSD. I am probably going to try to trade my Lucid in for another Tesla Model 3 with FSD. I got the Lucid because I watched the Lucid Tech talks and like the way it looks. It has cameras, radar, and Lidar. I really thought that it would have a better driver assistant package, but it is does not. The new Model 3 has almost range as my Lucid and much better software.
