Oooh yes, this is one of the greatest RTS ever made, maybe not for its story, but surely for its gameplay. I would love to see more games on Supreme Commander's scale, and I hope the guys working on Sanctuary get all the support they need to finish their project. But until then: Forged Alliance Forever!

HOLY HEAVENS I FREAKING LOVE THIS GAME!! 2nd RTS I ever started playing, and while Universe at war Earth Assault introduced me to the genre, this game cemented it as my all time favorite! Cant wait for the Aeon Illuminate video!

These games feature surprisingly good world-building -- In fact, I'd argue that these games help prove that a mediocre story/plot can be overlooked so long as the events taking place are given sufficient context.
That, and they're just awesome in general! Awesome battles, awesome controls, awesome music - the list goes on!
