Leonidas was actually very polite, thankful, and sympathetic towards the hunchback. He even offered him a role with the Spartans and logically explained why he couldn't fight with them.

Let's not forget that it was stupid for the father to let his children know the password to deactivate security (The purge). The wife should know, but not the kids!

Be fair to JarJar, he was tricked into thinking he was doing what Amidala would do, he didn’t know what it would lead to. He wasn’t stupid, he was just an innocent guy who was manipulated.
He honestly believed he was doing what she would have done if she was there. 😢

Silent Hill Rose is attempting to sneak into the town where entry is prohibited by law, so she gives a police officer attitude for absolutely no reason and draws attention to herself, then proceeds to start a high-speed pursuit in a minivan on an unfamiliar single road with the same cop, who is on a motorcycle and is more than familiar with the area...
And oh yeah, her young daughter is in the car with her, so she's also recklessly endangering the life of her own child.
And I thought Marion Crane in Psycho made some awful moves with her getaway after stealing the money but she was nervous, inexperienced with crime and eventually realized she made a huge mistake, Rose still thought she was completely in the right even after crashing her car and losing her daughter, not to mention having the nerve to call the cop stupid after all of it.
The movie still had its moments, but making the protagonist that unlikable was a huge misstep.

Watching the first part of the Quiet Place, as soon as it was revealed she was pregnant I just shouted out loud "Why?!" - Adds tension, sure, but come on.

JarJAr was naive and trusting. palpatine was crafty and evil. so how is it out of character for palpatine to manipulate things so JarJar naively gave him the power to carry out his plan?

It is frustrating, but it does make sense that Lori would hesitate. It was a major trauma to her that she had accidentally murdered an innocent man last time she thought she was killing Michael.

Maisie from Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom. She released the dinosaurs believe that some are friendly. She isn't arrogant. She is only a child. She is only simple minded. A naive, curious, and innocent look of the world. She isn't really that complex. It isn't a selfish decision. Young characters do have flaws, they aren't complex or arrogant. They are simple minded individuals. Who view their perspective of the world. As innocent or naive. And have very little interest in judging others.

Yeah that 28 weeks later kiss was really dumb … I was wondering why the military let him near his wife and thee was no observation?! They just let him randomly hang out with his obviously infected but asymptomatic wife and no one is around to check or guard 😅

The one thing that bothers me the most about A Quiet Place is they totally ignored their youngest child at the beginning of the movie and let her trail behind the rest of the family without anyone paying attention to her. Incredibly stupid behavior by the parents. That has always bugged me about that movie.

There is no defending A Quiet Place and the wife being pregnant. Add in the fact that it would be next to impossible to conceive a child quietly, since they made it quite clear that not even a whisper is to be uttered and you've got literally a forced element where suspension done successfully doesn't need any forced element. Not to mention the scene where the father and son talk openly next to a waterfall, why didn't the family move there during the final stages of the mother's pregnancy?

How about the daughter in a quiet place getting her brother killed with the toy then her dad by not staying put late in the movie

Someone seems to have forgotten that movie viewers often have more information that the characters in the movies do.

In Charlie's defense, he was being a good person who didn't understand why his parents were in such support of the purge.
