I trade mostly option with the mindset that the party is always going, but I enter and exit based on a carefully crafted trading plan. To me the only way to be consistent is to be in the market 365 days a year, otherwise you will surely lose opportunities.

After studying the trajectory of great assets like real estate, dividend paying stocks of blue chip companies, gold, etc, my conclusion is that most great assets never come down to the price that you want them to so you can buy. just buy the ones you can afford today.

This guy does not have enough views for this amazing video. I followed his strategy, picked out a few stocks to watch and see how well the scan worked. Next trading day they all saw gains while the rest of the stock market was tanking. Next, next day even better gains. My only regret is that I didn't actually buy any of those stocks.

Unusual volume. Up on the day’s performance.
Then average volume. Over 100k.
Industry. Stocks only.

Seems like a great place to get started.

Find a stock about to hit resistance and break through.

Or a stock that’s pulled back to resistance.

Probably best to use multiple timelines for identifying stops and take profits.
