Equatio: Removal of URL Encoded LaTeX For Desktop

Показать описание
For years, Equatio has been the go-to tool for creating digital, accessible math—empowering students and teachers with multiple input methods like an equation editor with built in prediction, handwriting, speech-to-math, and Desmos graphing. But did you know? Many blind and visually impaired students rely on Equatio every day to fully participate in math classrooms. Previously, our Alt Text included unnecessary LaTeX code, making screen readers read extra information students didn’t need. We listened. Now, Equatio optimizes the Alt Text experience, delivering clear spoken math while still allowing easy edits for all users. We have found a way to hide the previously inserted URL encoded LaTeX providing an exceptional user experience for our BVI users while continuing to keep our other user base happy by allowing them to edit previously inserted Equatio math images. This is just one way we’re making math truly accessible. At Everway, we’re committed to breaking barriers in education.
