The part about this speech by Rep. Jeffries that, for me, is most disturbing is what he didn't say and that is he failed to point out the fact that the federal funding for all of these new spending initiatives such as the student loan forgiveness initiative that didn't go nearly far enough, is being provided by the new/old federal financial paradigm called quantitative easing (QE) that describes the process of electronically generating (QE) we the peoples' monies, NOT federal tax revenue. I suppose as an ardent Trump supporter, registered Independent, I should be pleased with this "omission of the truth" since it is pretty much a given that the political party that is first to publicly acknowledge and then explain how and why QE spending works will be the political party that dominates on the federal level for the foreseeable future. (I hope you're paying attention President Trump, GOP?)
The entire explanatory narrative on how and why QE spending works is called Equity Spending (YouTube) or ES, not to be confused with the more politically correct, Left leaning, in my opinion, inferior MMT explanatory on QE spending. P.O.O.F.O.O.S.I.E.
