Harris-Walz political signs defaced in Cleveland

Residents in one Cleveland area neighborhood are reporting vandalism of political signs.

Years ago, I had an Obama sign and my neighbor drove over it with his pickup truck. He also clipped a rockwall on the edge of my property that caused major damage to the side of his truck as he left. The sign, grass and wall were fine. I got a good laugh every time he drove by and I saw the dents on his truck. He hasn’t touched my signs since.

One of my neighbors has a Harris Walz sign, the other has a trump sign.
I would never think of messing with either one’s signs, who cares.

We have that problem in my town, too. For years now, people have been leaving their Trump signs out without any issues. The moment someone had a Harris - Walz sign out, however, Trump supporters went ape - 💩 crazy and vandalized not only that person’s sign, but their garage door, as well. These Trumpers had no problem with expressing themselves, and enjoyed doing so for years without anyone giving them any problem, but they couldn’t afford anybody else the same opportunity.

It isn’t just about the sign, you know? It’s the hypocrisy that permeates everything they do.

I have a neighbor with a giant Trump flag. I would never think to vandalize it. It does certainly help me identify who to avoid talking to, though.

my "kids" didn't want me to put out any signs bc they were afraid of this happening.. I told them, "F it ... I am 71 yrs old and I will not let idiots tell me what I can and can't do in my own front yard"... I'm tired of people being afraid of ring wing loonies and bullies... at 71 I am standing for what I believe and they can go screw themselves.. also I think they know they are losing and I'm here for it....

I bought a long banner that I hung close to our Ring camera. Everyone can clearly see it, but you would have to get way too close to actually touch it (plus you would be caught on camera).

My husband is afraid if we put signs out they will break our windows or scratch our vehicles up. We live in a small town in PA. It used to be Trump country around here, I can see things changing though. I know I'll be vote straight blue. We have to vote the Republicans out. Give them a chance to regroup and get decent representatives . Rebuilt the republican party and get rid of maga's nuts.

What is going on in Ohio? Seems like the epicenter of magas. A sheriff who covers portage county is asking residents to list addresses where Harris/Walz signs are. He calls Harris, "flip-flop ping laughing hyena..." This is sick and scary and needs to be discussed.

I'm in rural NC. We're afraid to put out any Democrat signs or bumper stickers for fear of property damage. I get enough crap from other drivers for simply driving an electric car...

Homeowner in SoCal. Someone outright stole our Biden-Harris sign off our front yard four years ago. Our new Harris-Walz sign arrived just yesterday & my wife is thinking about how to booby-trap it!
