What do you think about the Nreal Light? Are you gonna get it for $500 when it launches later this year?

This is absolutely incredible, I would have never expected AR glasses to get affordable and consumer-ready this soon.

I heard a rumor that Apple has been working on their own Augmented reality glasses. This new market should be very interesting.

That one part reminded me of what it was like to play with toys around the house brilliant!

No doubt this concept has a great future. The only problem i see for nreal is the fact that at the moment not many consumers do have that snapdragon 855 or higher in their smartphone, i guess not more then 10 percent have that. So 90 percent cannot directly use it for this price and that gives the competition some time to come up with something better. Let's see what ar glass oculus will come up with, and likely samsung and sony will follow this concept as well. The limited field of view seems one of the aspects to improve.

This is awesome, although it would be cooler if the glasses looked like the ones from the movie "They Live".

the nreal's are awesome. I've played around with demo units at my work.

I wish the lenses were bigger because I think they would look better in an aviator style. It’s going to be really fun in 2 years once streaming apps and TV studios are augmenting their shows with XR features, and we can wear these for an optional XRTV experience. This is all moving along faster than I expected, so hopefully we’ll have the first XR contact lenses before the end of the decade.

Love what I'm seeing with these glasses, as a user of the Hololens 1 I'm excited to see the larger field of view and greater comfort of these glasses!

Two things I hope they change before consumer version: one being the overall design, it looks like they are too narrow on the face. Pulling the lenses out just a little would help them look more natural on an adult face I would think. this would not require any change to the display, just the style of the lenses/frame. The second would be to have the wire plug into the end of the arm on the glasses instead of being a permanently attached wire. If the wire develops a break internally there is no way to swap it out for a replacement. The junction at the very end of the glasses arm will be the point of greatest wear on the wire.

So if you were on a plane you could get up, go to the restroom and your movie would sill be paused waiting for you at your seat. This is the future right here.

This is soo much better than I expected. Makes me exicted to see what Apple has to offer with their upcoming glasses.

Another YouTuber connected it to a galaxy S9 and launched Samsung Dex and able to watch his own movies through the glasses. That is nice you can do this with the dev kit. Have you connected the glasses to a android phone lately even though the Nebula software has not come out yet?

Wow, your comments about the suitability for movie viewing surprised me! This is a more formidable device than I realized. I would have expected it to be washed out.

Best thing.. If you know some Unity its easy to start developing with the NRSDK. Buy yourself a fancy cg model and you got a winner app since nrsdk fixes all the input and the SLAM :-)
