I like this one: a simple idea, a neat hook (only works if YOU recognize a lock for what it is? Clever!), and juuuust enough vague details to get you wondering. (What *was* the "high security facility" the civilian was trying to sneak into?)

i wonder what would happen if you opened SCP-004 with this key. would you die or would it open.

This is a very interesting SCP, i’m curious of the extent of its unlocking abilities, if you have an iPhone that’s locked and you poke the screen would it input the code? Could it solve a Rubiks cube or would it not be able to do that because it’s not a lock, what if the Rubik’s cube, when solved would send out a signal that would open a door, would it be able to solve the Rubiks cube then? What about a puzzle box? or if to open the door you had to win a match of StarCraft 2 against two elite level ai, Could you then just put it on top of the computer and have it win the game for you? And seeing as it’s able to know when you know if something is a lock, will it be able to unlock something that you know is a lock but you don’t know WHAT it unlocks? how creative can we get here? What about a hand print or Eye sensor? Could it move on its own if that’s what’s required to open a lock does it even legitimately open the locks or would it just bypass them, like back to the StarCraft example, would it actually fight The ai or would it just magically not need to and open the door anyway? Please reply I want to see more hypotheticals

was this scp created before skyrim came out?? If not this is just a lame rip-off of nocturnal's skeleton key and "scp-fied"... I wish i could have this scp though in case i forgot my housekey xd
