Another round of Hablas Espanol! Can Americans speak Spanish on the spot? This is a fun series that we have done on BYU campus over the last few months, to see if college students are able to speak in Spanish. We found that many can speak in Spanish but also in many more languages like French, Chinese, and Japanese! Check out this fun new episode of ¿Hablas español?

Crazy how some people don't even want to learn a second language, Or even want to understand 1.. It's good to know English but it's also good to understand other languages as well, Also knowing a 2nd language is good for job opportunities

Quick correction: "¿Qué es" is used to ask the meaning or definition of a word or phrase (e.g., ¿Qué es el amor para ti?). "¿Cuál es" is used to ask for 'specific' information, like "¿cuál es tu dirección?". So, it should be: "¿Cuál es tu deporte favorito?".

I speak Spanish now, but I didn’t when I was in school (even though I took three years of Spanish!). That last girl was awesome. Even though I did well in class, I couldn’t say anything nor understand anything! 😂😂😂
