Komatsu PC3000 face shovel

Back to the time when Banks Mining commenced work with their PC3000 face shovel supplied by Komatsu Mining. Loading either Cat or Komatsu 100t capacity trucks the new Komatsu proved to be a reliable and productive machine.

This was the first of two Komatsu PC3000 machines taken by Banks for their opencast works in the North East. A long-term O&K/Caterpillar user, the PC3000 has proved to be a reliable and productive front-line earthmover and also very fuel efficient compared to their older machines. Since this was filmed the company has added a third machine and all three are working together on a gypsum mine.

Awesome video awesome limestone being loaded big scoops of limestone rock loaded and taken to the crusher facility and crushed and made into aggregate or road base material and gravel. Keep up the good work
