Thanks Phil. Finished reading Rule #1 a few weeks ago and now already addicted to your YouTube channel. Thanks for your generous sharing. However, I have also been watching series like Dirty Money and China Hustle on Netflix and that got me thinking, what if we can’t trust the Annual Reports anymore? With so much corruption and dishonesty among professionals who are supposed to help us to gate keep the integrity of the numbers, how could we be sure our analysis of the 4Ms and Big 5 numbers are valid? Wouldn’t the whole foundation of Rule #1 be tempered and flawed?

If you don't entirely understand a business, why not compare it to others in the same industry and compare the big financial metrics? The better the numbers the better the business?

Can't agree with the dominance bit, those companies are most researched by the big shops and often don't have growth potential
